The Resort at Pelican Hill Wedding | Casey & Sean

Casey and Sean's wedding truly was one for the books! Planning this wedding with Casey was such a creative journey. Her inspiration was rose gold, not copper, but the perfect shade of a rosey gold. Casey's taste is very traditional with a spin of the desire to want to do something unique and never seen before! When customizing the perfect invitations with Francis Orr, Casey selected the most beautiful rose gold foil that was embossed onto her invitations. The invitations really set the tone for the wedding; classy, glamorous, with an innovative touch of rose gold. Rose gold is so in trend, but never before had it been done for a wedding. We carried along the theme all the way through to the chiavari chairs, which were actually custom made specifically for Casey and Sean. They added that perfect touch to the ballroom. Nisie's Enchanted Florist did an outstanding job on the florals and decor. The ceremony space was absolutely dreamy and filled with creamy roses and white orchids. It was the perfect setting to say "I Do". After the ceremony, which included a traditional Irish Handfasting ceremony, guests where escorted by an Irish bagpiper to Cocktail Hour on the Lower Patio. Once guests enjoyed a cocktail or hopped in line for the chocolate tasting station, they were able to taste a couple different beers from Ireland and Italy and vote on "Who Brews It Best". Guests were then escorted up to Mar Vista Ballroom, which was adorned in all things cream and rose gold. Sean and Casey's sweetheart table was quite the eye catcher, and smelled yummy too! An ivory linen was enhanced into an all real rose linen thanks to Nisie and her team! Behind Sean and Casey in the middle of the sunroom hung their floating cake, suspended by rose gold chains of course! After Sean and Casey shared their first dance, drums began to play from outside the ballroom. In came the USC marching band! With almost every guest being huge USC fans, this was such a hit! It was the start to an amazing night! After feasting on 4 delectable courses and dancing the night away, guests headed over to La Cappella Ballroom for the After Party! On their way there, they could pit stop at the upper patio and grab some grub from the Hot Dog On a Stick truck! Once they got into the after party, they were greeted by old school baseball game servers who were carrying traditional Italian cookies, nuts, cracker jacks, and 5 hour energy to keep the party going! Casey & Sean's wedding was entertaining, beautiful, and full of memories. I think it was an event that no one will ever forget! Congrats to the amazing couple!
