Montage Laguna Beach Wedding | Melissa & Shai

Melissa and Shai are two highly intelligent, kind, and down to earth individuals who I had the honor of working with to plan their wedding. Their wedding took place at the gorgeous Montage Laguna Beach, and Brandon Kidd beautifully captured all the memorable moments from their day. What I really loved about their vision was their subtle uses of color. While we stuck faithfully to white florals throughout the wedding, I appreciated the blush tones in the bridesmaids dresses. Melissa and her bridesmaid had a blast getting ready together, and it was so easy to see how much love and support Melissa is surrounded by. For her big day, Melissa wore a stunning, sparkly wedding gown and a delicate jeweled headpiece to tie it all together. She was simply glowing! The ceremony was equally breathtaking and touching as the happy couple said “I do!” under a wedding arch decorated with lush white florals and hanging gems. Afterwards, guests mingled and enjoyed various refreshing hors d'oeuvres before making their way to their tables, which were marked on the cutest camel colored luggage tags! Throughout the night, there was plenty of dancing, laughing, and touching speeches. Shai and his groomsmen even changed into customized t-shirts which depicted Shai as a “Soldier of Love”— such a unique touch! Overall, it was a beautiful event and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Melissa and Shai. Cheers to these lovebirds!
