Bel Air Bay Club Wedding | Jessika & Henry

Jessika and Henry’s wedding was so much fun to plan as this couple was not afraid of utilizing color and moodier tones for their decor. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Bel Air Bay Club, where lush green landscape and towering palm trees overlooking the ocean created such a tropical vibe during the California summer. For their wedding, Jessika and Henry did not shy away from using bold, vibrant colors, often incorporating shades of red, pink, and blue contrasted against darker colors. Their invitation suite, menu card, and wedding cake all incorporated these glamorous tones against a black background, effortlessly creating a modern look throughout their wedding. The ceremony was absolutely stunning with just the natural beauty of the venue and the florals from Shawna Yamamoto really complementing each other. For the reception we followed the same theme but scattered plates of juicy nectarines, green apples, and blueberries throughout, a subtle nod to Dutch still life paintings. Gold dinnerware and accents throughout the reception helped tie in the decadent, tasteful atmosphere we were aiming for. I absolutely loved the tasteful use of color in this wedding, whether it was the burgundy peonies, pops of blue, or the guests outfitted in black. Congratulations to Jessika and Henry!
