Rava Winery, Paso Robles Wedding | Alexa & Taylor
The wedding planning journey with Alexa & her mom Arlete was filled with trips to Paso Robles together, trips to LA, and so much fun! With Taylor being a pilot in the Air Force, he wasn't able to be around for the year and a half long wedding planning process. Fortunately, the bride-to-be was very decisive and we pulled in a great team to make her vision come to life down to every last detail. Guests from around the world gathered for the three-day wedding weekend in the gorgeous wine country of Paso Robles. We kicked off the weekend with a "Love Takes Flight" themed welcome party with breathtaking views of the rolling vineyard hills of Paso. The small details were important to the couple & family, such as pistachio filled vases with billowing flowers to pay homage to the families farming ties, and paper airplanes strung from tree to tree as well as a heart shaped paper plane photo backdrop. Both families coincidentally are Portuguese, so we of course had to have Portuguese cheeses featured in the gorgeous cheese station! On the wedding day, Alexa & her girls got ready in her families beach house, which was so special & familiar to her. The couple wed at The Mission in San Luis Obispo, where Alexa wore a chapel length veil with her new monogram aCd embroidered on it. Guests were then shuttled over to Rava Wines and enjoyed cocktails, wine, & light bites around the vineyard pond relaxing on plush lounge furniture. The transition into the reception space featured custom neon signs and a gorgeous floral display as a photo moment. Designing the warehouse style event center was so much fun, as it acted as a blank slate for the team to collaborate & create magic in. We dressed up the space with flowy white draping, a 50ft ceiling installation of white wisteria and grandiose chandeliers, and candles upon candles upon candles. The tables 56ft long tables and 20ft round tables featured over 8,500 white roses and white orchids. The seven foot cake with the geometric gold backdrop offered a stunning focal point behind the sweethearts at their table. The guests dance the night away with surprise features like sparklers & confetti! On Sunday morning the guests were treated to Brunch with the Newlyweds before departing, giving Alexa and Taylor a chance to see everyone off and talk about the incredible memories made the night before. It was a weekend to remember!
