Hotel Del Coronado Wedding | Lindsay & Billy
Lindsay & Billy are two of the most loving people ever! It was a dream to plan their destination wedding at the iconic Hotel Del Coronado. They are both from Texas and wanted to plan an intimate ocean front wedding for their closest friends and family. Since Greece was not an option for their wedding, they wanted to bring a bit of their Greek culture to Coronado. To start, Shannon from Luxe Marie created the most stunning envelope invitation with the Greek ornament bordering. Lindsay & Billy had a traditional ceremony at St. Spyridon church in downtown San Diego before guests made their way to the lovely Windsor Complex at The Del. We kept the reception crisp and white with draping, linens and chairs to accentuate the indigo blue and gold details on the tabletop. The entire room was simply beautiful, with a soft color palette of whites and creams and accents of foliage from Plenty of Petals. We had golden vine chargers, amalfi scalloped dinner/bread and butter plates and indigo crystal water glasses from The Ark that were just perfect. To carry out the gold details, we had of course, gold cutlery, gold trim glassware and a fun gold napkin treatment with the couple’s initials to finish off the look! Instead of bread and butter, we used the Amalfi scalloped plates to elegantly place their favors that were traditional Jordan almonds from Greece. The night ended with Lindsay and Billy sharing a special moment with their new family, cutting into their Greek inspired cake by Sweet Cheeks Bakery. It was truly an intimate experience that was both romantic and elegant! Congrats to the happy couple!
