Bacara Resort & Spa Wedding | Diandra & Troy

Diandra and Troy’s formal navy, gold and white wedding at Bacara Resort and Spa was so much fun to plan!  Diandra and her mom have such an impeccable design aesthetic and it was an honor to bring their wedding visions to life! Diandra looked radiant in her delicate Mira Zwillinger gown and Troy donned his United States Air Force dress blues.  They said their I Do’s at the Santa Barbara Mission and one of my favorite images captured by John & Joseph is when the newlyweds departed the church as husband and wife and see all of their family and friends celebrating them out in front.  Following the church ceremony, guests made their way to the Bacara where they enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the terrace.  Shawna Yamamoto and her amazing team set the tone of the evening with a magnificent floral wall that doubled as the escort luggage tag wall.  It was a total showstopper that blew everyone away!  Navy velvet sofas from Revelry Event Designers, paired with gorgeous gold brushed linens on cocktail tables from Luxe Linen and string lights from Shine Lighting completed this dreamy set up. The ballroom was navy, gold and white heaven with lush white blooms everywhere you looked. Navy linens from Luxe Linen really popped against the white carpeting and brought the perfect amount of texture to the space, which had expert lighting by Shine Lighting. One of my favorite little details was the navy bow tie napkin treatment with gold acrylic place card napkin rings – so chic!  The sweetheart table was overflowing with lush white florals– the dreamiest place to sit next to your forever sweetheart! One of the main focal points at the reception was the floating cake - which was a sweet surprise for the newlyweds - and it was so much fun watching them cut into it with a sword. What a special wedding that I will always treasure being a part of! Congratulations Diandra and Troy!
