Jenni and Jason were married on January 17, a very special date for them as it marked their third year anniversary. Jason’s always dreamt of getting married with the Pacific in the backdrop, so close proximity to the water and a stellar ocean view were the prerequisites. As soon as they stepped foot onto the Montage Laguna Beach, they were sold. “There’s just something so special, magical, and utterly Californian about the property” stated Jenni. They loved how it immediately felt comfortable and relaxed and yet still so elevated–California casual at its absolute best. Plus, they got engaged at the Montage Beverly Hills, so there was also something special about keeping it within the Montage family of hotels.Jenni loves the clean look when graphic black and white mesh together. They added subtle gold accents to the décor for just the right touch of glam. As seen with their invitation, they carried this concept from their outdoor space all the way inside their white carpeted and draped ballroom. The perfect clean palette for Shawna Yamamoto to created a romantic, yet whimsical modern space. It didn’t feel like a typical white flower wedding as the boxwood hedges, topiaries, white wood molding with black trim paid homage to the 2005 Met Gala that celebrated the House of Chanel. The decor for the gala brought garden elements into an indoor space in a very elegant way. Congratulations Jenni and Jason!
