The Resort at Pelican Hill Wedding | Christine & Dennis

I just adore everything about this couple and this wedding! It was so much fun getting creative with Christine and White Lilac and making her European inspired wedding come to life! Our inspiration behind it all was Southern France meets English Garden... very natural yet refined, feminine, and romantic. The tone was set with Christine & Dennis' invitation suite designed and made by Yuling Designs, which had fresh picked lavender inside to give off a lovely aroma as guests opened their invitation. The ceremony and reception took place at the oh so beautiful Pelican Hill Resort. I just love what White Lilac did with the Event Lawn. The topiaries at the start of the aisle are just perfection! The most beautiful simple touch. We wanted to keep the ceremony space very natural and earthy, while staying within the design aesthetic that is already existing at Pelican Hill. We kept the ceremony with lots of greenery, which enhanced the floral halo inside of the Rotunda as well as Christine and her bridesmaids bouquets. After Cocktail Hour on the Lower Patio, which was complete with pretty vintage lounge vignettes, guests were escorted up to Mar Vista for the remainder of the evening. I am obsessed with the long feasting tables and the charming french winery style florals and chairs. After Entree, we revealed a french sweets station complete with the most divine Croquembouche and a liege waffle station. It was the perfect final touch for a beautiful evening!
