The Resort at Pelican Hill Wedding | Rachel & Nick

It was a pleasure to assist Rachel and Nick with planning their dream wedding at the Resort at Pelican Hill. I first met Rachel and Nick while planning Rachel’s brother’s wedding, and I could not have been more delighted to work with these two on creating their special day. Rachel and Nick are two of the sweetest people, and anyone who knows them (or meets them) can see their genuine love for each other. They wanted a wedding that reflected their personalities and style, and selected Pelican Hill as the venue. Rachel and Nick loved the vibe of the resort and always pictured a romantic outdoor ceremony. They went with a clean color palette of soft blue, white and grey, and incorporated lots of orchids. It was a magical look beautifully designed by the talented crew at White Lilac Inc. Their ceremony on the event lawn was dreamy with the white draping, and white orchids that looked liked they were floating down the aisle. The crystal chandelier added elegance and completed the look. The reception design consisted with white draping, ambiance lighting, and different styles of centerpieces. One of my favorite elements was the dramatic hanging orchid chandelier treatments. When I think back at the wedding I think about all the fun! Rachel and Nick had a large wedding party that knew how to properly celebrate. Enjoy these photos to see some of their wedding story unfold!
