Cammy & Steve are such an awesome couple, and when it came to their wedding plans, they decided to have the wedding design be not so traditional. Cammy wanted the wedding to reflect her true style, and didn’t feel like she was a white wedding dress type of bride. Instead she decided that she was more of a black Vera Wang gown type of gal…a girl after my own heart going with the fab statement dress! Cammy’s wedding dress was a key component with the wedding design that influenced White Lilac with the feeling of the design and inspiration for their color palette. To make the wedding romantic and not too hash with black accents, they added lots of blush pink, creams and ivory. I swoon over their wedding design and bravo to Sunny at White Lilac for making everything elegant and stunning! Thank you to John Hong with John and Joseph Photography for these photos that capture the beauty of the wedding.
The ceremony took place at the Event Lawn at Pelican Hill. To transform the space White Lilac draped the rotunda in draping with different textures and tied back with ruffled treatments. Inside the Rotunda were three hanging black chandeliers in varying heights. The mirrored pedestals added an element of chicness to the flower arrangement that framed the aisle.
To go with the decor, Cammy & Steve decided have custom escort pieces created by the talented, Rachel Baker, Rachel Jane Couture. Guests picked up the escort mirrored pieces, and took their seats under the reception structure out on the Lower Patio.
The details for the reception tabletops and structure were fabulous. The guest tables consisted of low groupings of roses and calla lilies in square containers raised on black risers. The black acrylic chairs looked clean and tied into the black accents. Guests awed over the gorgeous draping and hanging crystal chandeliers, and black feather chandeliers.
