We were featured on Style Me Pretty yesterday for Kellan & Brandon’s Rehearsal Dinner! I loved this rehearsal dinner, it was very much a fiesta! Kellan & Brandon had a destination wedding in Laguna Beach California, as most of their family lives out of the area. Brandon’s Family hosted a rehearsal dinner at El Adobe as their family loves good Mexican food, being all from Missouri, this was such a treat. Margaritas and Mariachis added to the fun space. The cheese enchiladas were to die for and the flan is the best in town. Sunny from White Lilac transformed the space with colorful flower poofs and cut out banners throughout the entire ceiling. If you look closely you will find several strands were custom cut with Kellan and Brandon’s names embedded into the art. She found beautiful patterned and velvet runners that were overlaid on soft buttery yellow linens. Tissue flowers were adorned on each napkin along with a variety of vivid ribbons. My favorites were the hot sauce bottles, and Mexican soda bottles, used as bud vases along with jalepenos cans filled with ranunculas, parrot tulips, anemones and fresh mint.
Amazing gift baskets were created for every guest… filled with goodies like dark chocolate truffles, cocoa chili chips, strawberry mini mints and even little pouches of Tylenol. The paper goods from Details A la Carte were perfectly fitting with the festive borders and woven materials. Filigree Cakes did a fantastic Groom’s Cake featuring Brandon and his family’s favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Kellan and Brandon wanted a lively, colorful, welcoming event and it was nothing short of that!
