I just loved the decor for this wedding! Cari is not a Pink girl, and did not want alot of flowers in her bouquet or any fussiness. The beauty of the Montage Resort speaks for itself so Cari wanted the decor to enhance the property and not take away from gorgeous views. Cari and Stephen who live in Chicago, wanted their friends and family to experience what they know of the Pacific coast. Shades of celery and aqua were carefully seen throughout the wedding, from the pashminas on the chairs, to the fabric on the huppah to the lighting in the ballroom. Accents of pewter from the table linens, chargers and menu cards was a great offset to the cool blue tones. Beautiful trees were strategically placed on the lawn and on square tables in the ballroom. When guests walked in, they gasped with delight on this enchanting space with beautiful flowers and blooming trees (which weren’t real of course) I had so much fun planning this with Linda, Mother of the Bride, she is stunning (Gold dress, bottom corner) Almost forgot, Cari was sad she could not bring the other love of her life, Linus, her dog to the wedding so mom surprised her and has Linus carved into the ice block. Thanks to Ira and Samuel of Ira Lippke Studios for these great photos!
Have you heard of this term in wedding video before? For those that haven’t, it’s the newest trend and only a few companies can do this. Guests never expect it! A video presented around cake cutting time, either through a big screen or MAC and shown to the guests all the festivities that happened earlier in the day. From getting ready to walking down the aisle, to grand entrance and first dance, it’s all being captured and then editted on site. YES, a little elf collects the tapes from the videographers and passes them off to the editor who sits vigorously at an editting system and produces a one song recap of the day so far…check this out! Produced by the one and only Elysium Productions!
